Employer Selection Form

On this form, you control which employers are selected for a report or for viewing on the screen. If you don’t specify any selection conditions, then all employers are selected. If you specify multiple selection conditions, then an employer has to satisfy ALL of the conditions to be selected. If the Also Include Subsidiary Employers option is checked, then if an employer is included, then all the other employers that specify that the included employer is their Consolidation Employer are also included.

A selection conditions has these parts:

• Type of Selection: for example, the employer code, the employer type
  
  
• Qualifier: used to qualify the type of selection; not currently used by any type of selection
  
  
• Operator: the type of comparison to perform when checking for selection, e.g., equal, not equal, between, not between, like
  
  
• Values: the values that you want to include or exclude

Here are some (but not all) of the types of selections that you can tell the system to perform:

• Employer Code: select employers on the basis of their code (also called employer number )
  
  
• Employer Type: select employers on the basis of their type
