Employers Form

For information on the toolbar in the upper right of the employer form, see Toolbar.

Code: Assign a unique identification code or number. If you assign numbers, we recommend that they are all the same length – e.g. 010, 100, 101, not 10, 100, 101.

Type: See Dropdown Boxes. You set up these employer types in the Employer Types form under the Tables menu. If you need more than 4 types for an employer, call Fulton Software.

Status: A for active; I for Inactive. If your site needs additional codes, please call Fulton Software.

Tax Receipts: If unchecked, dues for this employer are NOT included on tax receipts.

Business Agent: See Dropdown Boxes. You set up the business agents in the Business Agents form under the Tables menu.

Consolidation Employer: If you specify a consolidation employer B for the current employer A, then if you select employer B for a remittance then all of employer A’s members are included in the remittance in addition to employer B’s members. The same applies to reports.

Contracts to: The employer to which the current employer contracts. Enter either the employer code or name – See Employer Name/Code Entry.

Contact Name, Phone: You may enter as many rows of information as you wish in this grid. The information does not necessarily have to be contact information; it can include other information if that makes sense. If you enter a Contact Name of “Email” (without the quotes), the corresponding email address under Phone will be used to send email to that employer. See Grids.

Remittance Order: This controls the default order for members on remittances for this employer.

Comments: Up to approximately 64,000 characters of information.
